The Cedar City Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile race down beautiful Cedar Canyon. The race usually takes place the second Saturday in September.

Fire Road is a mountain bike race has typically taken place the last Saturday in June. Riders from all over the country come to experience the high altitude climb from about 5,500 feet to over 10,000 feet.
Additionally, riders see the wonders Cedar City and the surrounding area have to offer - from red desert hills to alpine forests, all within, yet grueling bike ride.

Tour of Utah
The Tour of Utah is considered America's Toughest Stage Race. Cedar City is host to Stage 1 of the 2016 Tour of Utah. From Zion Canyon Village to Cedar City, professional cyclists race down Cedar Canyon and around Cedar City finishing at the new Beverely Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts.
