Airport Projects

Cedar City Regional Airport constantly seeks to improve its functionality, infrastructure, and service. Below is a project(s) list currently active.
The Cedar City Regional Airport, Cedar City, UT, intends to extend the current Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) that will apply to all passengers in Accordance with 14 CFR Part 158.

  • Proposed projects to be funded are:
  • Update Aiport Master Plan
  • Acquire Snow Removal Equipment
  • Rehabilitate Terminal Apron
  • Rehabilitate Taxiway D
  • Construct Prairie Dog Fence
  • Rehabilitate Apron
  • Rehabilitate Runway 2/20
  • PFC Administration
These projects are completed or anticipated Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funded projects.  PFC revenue will reimburse the airport for the sponsor share of these projects. The proposed charge effective date is May 1, 2019.  The estimated expiration date is August 1, 2042.  The estimated PFC revenue is $1,394,632. A consultation meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the Airport Conference Room at the Cedar City Regional Airport.  Comments or questions should be submitted to the Cedar City Corporation Public Works Director at 10 N.
