UTILITY PAYMENT OPTIONS

*If you receive a shut-off notice, there are options available to you.*

Last October, the City Council approved changes to the City’s water/utility ordinance, making it possible for residents that fall behind on their utility bill payments to keep receiving their City services. Any account holder with an unpaid balance of more than 60 days delinquent has the option to sign a Late Fee Payment Agreement. This agreement will allow the account holder to keep using City-owned utilities while making monthly payments to pay off the outstanding balance. This is a payment plan option, and not something to wipe away the delinquent amount owing.

If you would like to get more information or have questions, please contact the City’s legal department at (435) 586-2953.
