PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - CITY COUNCIL MEETING - FEBRUARY 1, 2023

  • to consider vacating a public utility easement located at approximately 1950 W. Clark Parkway.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
  • The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its February 1, 2023, City Council Work Meeting to consider annexing 8.20 acres of land located at 2620 Commerce Center Drive.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
  • The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its February 1, 2023, City Council Work Meeting to consider annexing 3.58 acres of land located at 500 East Old Highway 91.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
  • The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its February 1, 2023, City Council Work Meeting to consider entering a Development Agreement on property located at 1221 S. Main St. The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
  • The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its February 1, 2023, City Council Work Meeting to consider modifications to Chapter 26 Article XIV regarding the City’s Airport Overlay Zone.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
  • The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its February 1, 2023, City Council Work Meeting to consider modifications to Chapter 26 Article XI regarding conditional use permits.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
  • The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its February 1, 2023, City Council Work Meeting to consider modifications to Chapter 26 Article III regarding the City’s I&M-1 Industrial and Manufacturing Zone.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - CEDAR CITY PLANNING COMMISSION - FEBRUARY 7, 2023

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Cedar City Planning Commission on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023, starting at 5:15 p.m. in the Cedar City Council Chambers located at 10 N. Main Street, Cedar City, Utah. Time will be allowed for public comment on the following items:

  • Consider a Trails Master Plan Amendment for property located at 2608 N. Wedgewood Lane
  • Consider a General Land Use Amendment, from Medium Density Residential to Highway and Regional Commercial Services, for property located at approx. 3000 N. 100 E.
  • Consider a proposed General Land Use designation as Highway and Regional Commercial Services for property located at approx. 3000 N. 100 E.
  • Consider a Zone Change, from R-1 to Highway Service (HS), for property located at approx. 3000 N. 100 E.

NOTICE OF INTENT - CEDAR CITY GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Cedar City, Utah, intends to prepare amendments to the Cedar City General Plan. The proposed amendments will be associated with the Housing Element of the current General Plan.  

This notice is provided pursuant to Utah Code Annotated (10-9a-203). The general public and Affected Entities are invited to provide information for the City to consider in the process of amending the Housing Element of the General Plan. The proposed General Plan amendment may (a) impact the use of land proposed in the proposed General Plan; and (b) uses of land within Cedar City that Affected Entities are planning or considering that may conflict with the proposed General Plan amendments.
