PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING - SEPTEMBER 28, 2021


Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Cedar City Planning Commission on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, starting at 5:15 p.m. in the Cedar City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main, Cedar City, Utah.  Time will be allowed for public comment on the following items:

  1. Subd. – Minor Lot, approx. 1300 N 5300 W
  2. Subd. – Vicinity, 1200 North Lund (approx.)
  3. Subd.- Vacate a portion of Northfield Addition Subdivision Phase 1 including a portion of the street which also includes 2559 N, 2573 N, 2589 N, 2605 N, 2621 N, 2635 N , 2651 N and 2667 North Commerce Center Drive and B-1560-0005-0002;     
  4. Road Dedication, Commerce Center Dr. N end   
  5. General Land Use Change: 2620 N Commerce Center, Medium to High Density
  6. Zone Change: CC to R-3-M, 2620 N Commerce Center


PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – PLANNING COMMISSION, OCTOBER 5, 2021

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Cedar City Planning Commission on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, starting at 5:15 p.m. in the Cedar City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main, Cedar City, Utah.  Time will be allowed for public comment on the following items:

  1. The Courtyards at Shurtz Canyon – Planned Unit Development (PUD) in the vicinity of 2700 South Tipple Road;
  2. The Estates at Shurtz Canyon – Planned Unit Development (PUD) in the vicinity of 2700 South Tipple Road; 
  3. A Zone Change – R2-2 (Dwelling Two-Unit) to SHD (Student Housing District) for property located at 227 S and 231 S, 1025 W; and 222 S 900 W;
  4. A Zone Change – R3-M (Dwelling Multiple Unit) to SHD (Student Housing District) for property located at the southwest corner of 1025 W and Thunderbird Way (Parcels B-1115-0024-0000 and B-1115-0018-0000); 
  5. A General Plan Land Use Amendment from Medium Density Residential to Student Housing District for property located at 227 S and 231 S, 1025 W; and 222 S 900 W;
  6. The second amendment to the Blackstone Phase 1 Planned Unit Development (PUD) located at approximately 800 South Cove Drive;
  7. A Zone Change from CC (Central Commercial) to R3-M (Dwelling Multiple Unit) for property located at 1700 East Canyon Commercial Drive.
  8. A General Plan Amendment from Commercial to High Density Residential for property located at 1700 East Canyon Commercial Drive.
  9. Ordinance text amendment pertaining to the Airport Overlay Zone (Section 26-XIV-5 of the Cedar City Zoning Ordinance);
  10. Ordinance text amendment pertaining to fencing for Planned Unit Developments (Section 32-9-4.F Cedar City Subdivision Ordinance) 

 All in Cedar City, Utah.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - CITY COUNCIL WORK MEETING - OCTOBER 6, 2021


The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its October 6, 2021, City Council Work Meeting to consider granting an easement on City property across 300 West at approximately 36 North.  The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - CITY COUNCIL WORK MEETING - OCTOBER 6, 2021


The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its October 6, 2021, City Council Work Meeting to consider a zone change from Annex Transition (AT) to Single Dwelling Residential (R-1) for property located at 3359 Hidden Hills Drive. The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.

The Cedar City Council will hold a public hearing during its October 6, 2021, City Council Work Meeting to consider a zone change from Dwelling Multiple Unit (R-3-M) to Student Housing District (SHD) for property located at 392 South 300 West. The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in the City Council Chambers located at 10 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah.  The public is encouraged to attend.
