2022 General Election Information for Iron County
Iron County is conducting a mail election. Follow the steps below to vote:
- If you are an active registered voter, your ballot will be mailed to you between June 7 and June 21 2022. Didn’t receive your ballot? Immediately contact the Iron County Clerk at (435) 477-8340 or clerk.group@ironcounty.net.
- Follow the instructions provided with the ballot.
- Make sure your ballot is counted by either:
- Postmarking your ballot on or before June 27, 2022 (the day before the election).
- Dropping your ballot off at your county clerk's office, a polling location, or a drop box by 8:00 pm on Election Day. Below is a list of drop box locations for Iron County.
Important Dates:
- June 17 Last day to register to vote and receive a by mail ballot
- June 28: Primary Election for Political Party's
- October 28: Last day to register to vote and receive a by mail ballot
- November 8: General Election
(For caucus and convention information, please contact the political parties directly) - NOTICE: To vote in a Political Party's Primary Election, voters must be affiliated with their preferred party by MARCH 31, 2022.
Party Affiliation changes will not be allowed between April 1, 2022 and June 29, 2022. Utah Code 20A-2-107(2)(f).

Postage is required to return your ballot. Complete the voter affidavit with a signature of voter and printed name of voter on the back of the provided envelope before you seal the ballot inside. The ballot will not be counted if the affidavit is not signed.
The return envelope must be clearly postmarked by Monday, June 27, 2022.

| You may drop-off your completed by mail ballot to a vote center on June 28, 2022 until 8:00 p.m. Cedar City Hall has a ballot box available now through June 28th, located at the front counter. Complete the voter affidavit with a signature of voter and printed name of voter on the back of the provided envelope before you seal the ballot inside. The ballot will not be counted if the affidavit is not signed.
