$43 for each owner and $13 for each full-time employee

How much does it cost for a State of Utah business license?
That is dependent upon what kind of business you are starting (i.e. sole proprietor, partnership, etc). For more information click

What type of incentives are offered?
Depends on what you are capable of bringing to Iron County and Utah. For more information, visit

What does Cedar City have to offer my business?
Cedar City is in an ideal location. We are located right along I-15 between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. We have our own airport, and railroad that allows for greater access for the transport of goods. We also have an educated populace, that will help your business bring innovative ideas and to grow. Are there any specific requirements that I need to know about my regarding my business?
Yes. More than likely, depending on your type of business and your location, you may be subject to specific codes/ordinances. As a result, we recommend that you contact Larry Palmer (435-865-5117 or plarry@cedarcity.org) to discuss any questions you may have. Regarding water usage, we recommend you contact Peter Sury (435-867-9426 or spete@cedarcity.org). For business license questions and other applications, you may contact Renon Savage (435-865-5106 or srenon@cedarcity.org).

Yes.
